When I am enjoying a great steak dinner cooked on the barbeque along comes a wasp to spoil my nice meal. Now I can sit there and let it continue to bother me, go into the house to eat or try to kill it and take a chance of getting stung and loose my appetite to eat.

Well I suppose I could relate to this spiritually being in the santuary listening to a wholesome message. You could look at it as a steak (his word) cooked on the grill (Holyghost annointing) by Jesus (our provider/father) and served by the pastor to the kids (us) and our friends (visitors).
.
Satan can pester us just as the wasp with a distraction or maybe someone in the wrong spirit next to you at church/on the way home from church where you do not get all the benefits of that meal because you are frustrated and have no appetite to eat the meal.

You can end up losing the victory you could have received because of letting it drag you down or you could determine in your heart to avoid that person/situation; therefore, finishing eating the awesome spiritual meal you were chomping on. Maybe if you hung around after the service you'd get desert also (a spiritual/physical blessing).

So if you are in church and someone or something is hindering you from 
receiving what is being preached, maybe you could go sit somewhere else to be fed completely and and not loose what God had for you.
