THERE IS NO ONE LIKE JESUS. . .

He is truly a God of love and does accept us

if we come to him with a humble, repentent heart;

if we allow him to mold us into the precious vessels

that he sees that we can be,to be used for his glory.

He is compassionate, merciful, longsuffering
and can be our closest friend.

He is the great physician when we are sick,

.

shephard when we need guidance,

.

strong tower when we need warnings of danger,

.

solid rock when the earth is shaking around us,
captain in the storms of life,

.

teacher when we need knowledge,

.

father when we need wisdom,

.

provider when we need physical things,

.

high priest when we need spiritual things,

.

and mother when we need love.

.

There are not enough words
or characters that can describe Jesus.

His love is unending.

There is NO ONE like the GREAT GOD,

JEHOVAH, JESUS!!!

Jesus said, if you love me, KEEP my commandments,

so continue to follow him and show your love to him by

keeping his commandments.

If you are not baptized in JESUS NAME for the REMISSION (washing away) OF SINS (as Jesus commanded), I suggest that you find someone to do that for you and I also wanted you to know about the Holy Ghost experience as it talks about in the bible throughout the book of Acts.

I have had the same experience and there is NOTHING like it.

Yesterday I read that our beautiful Sister in the Lord, Nona Freeman has went to meet Jesus. Below is a write up by one of her loved ones that touches tiny bits about her. . . .

Nona Freeman 1916-2009

Dear Loved Ones of Nona Freeman:

We sorrow, yet rejoice to inform you of the earthly departure and heavenly arrival of our mother Nona E. Freeman 93 years old. She was a Jesus name Minister; Foreign Missionary; Daughter; Wife; Mother; Grandparent and beloved friend to millions around the world.

She took the 10:45 p.m. flight, Saturday, December 26, 2009 at our home in Fort Worth, Texas. Take-off was smooth after 93 years of waiting on the run-way. There was often layovers at various terminals in her life but Mom never
complained.

She began her Ministry in 1939. She spread the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 70 years as a Preacher, Foreign Missionary, Speaker, Columnist, Evangelist and beloved author of more than twenty books. She preached and served as pastor's wife throughout the United States and the continent of her burden, Africa.

Upon arrival she was greeted at her Heavenly Destination by Jesus! Then she was finally greeted by our dad and her spouse of 62 years; her beloved E.L. 'Bug' Freeman!

She was also greeted her daughter and our sister Marla, and not only a fellow minister but her beloved mother, Carrie Eastridge as well as a host of loved ones, the apostles and prophets of old.

Those left at the terminal upon her departure; daughter and travel companion Sandra Freeman of Fort Worth, Texas, daughters, Linda, Sharon, son Dale Freeman, several generations of grandchildren, siblings, family and a host of friends around the world.

The Nona Freeman family thanks you and asks for your prayers at this time.

The other day I checking out this blog and Deb wrote the below article on the blessings of God and what heaven will be like. . .

God?? Are there....?
.

Do ya ever just spend time sharing with God your 'wonderings'?
.
Last night I was communing with God and I was thanking Him for the many blessings He's allowed me to experience. And as I continued to thank God for things like my husband, my family, my home, my daily provision, etc. - that thankful list of things just kept growing.

.

I found myself thankful for the sunshine, the crunchy leaves underfoot ... and so much more.

.
Then I began to wonder, if these things are so very impressive to me, and if they're so important and bring such joy to me here - what must Heaven be like??
.
I know that we won't even need light in the presence of God - because Jesus will be our Light. I know that we will find our joy made complete in Him.

.

But... Do you, like me, ever wonder, "God... are there..."
.
I lay there last night asking God, "God, are there seasons in heaven? Is it Autumn there now? Do the leaves change to vibrant color and then fall to blow into piles and crunch underfoot?"
.
Are there oceans of life-filled water in heaven? And do those oceans have tides that wash seashells upon the shore?
.

Are there pelicans that glide through the air to suddenly dive down... down... splashing into the water for a quick meal? Are there seagulls that follow the pelicans, screeching for just a tidbit? Are there little black mango-tree crabs? And sunning lizards? Are there sand-dollars and starfish?
.
Are there mountains in heaven, God? Do the trees of the mountains release a fresh-pine fragrance into the air? Does the morning mist settle like a cloudy dew in the mountains?
.

Are there creeks and rivers in heaven? Are they crystal clear and cold and drinkable? Are there smooth stones and jumping fish in the rivers?
.

Are there clouds in heaven, God? Can one just lay on the ground and look into the blue sky to see animal characters, dancing ladies and funny cartoons in the shapes of those clouds?

. .
Are there deer and raccoons and squirrels in the woods of heaven, God?

.
Are there hummingbirds - lots and lots of hummingbirds?
.
Are there caves, God? Caves that are carved from small but steady movements of water? Cool, darkened caves of mysteriously beautiful stalactites and stalagmites? And tiny cave creatures?
.
Are there shoes in heaven? Or can we enjoy being barefoot in the grass? Is there grass? Do the people in heaven run and jump and dance? Do they grab the hands of passers-by and pull them into the joyous, laughing dance?
.

.
God?? Are there these things in heaven? Or are our minds too finite to understand all that heaven holds for us? You remind us that "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what You have prepared for those who love You."
..

And as our minds begin to wonder how much more this old world can take, and as we continuously battle the enemy's attacks upon our world, churches, families and even our own minds, our fleshly bodies join with your creation as we begin to 'groan' inwardly, eagerly awaiting the redemption of these earthly bodies. As we wait, I feel compelled to wonder...

.

If Jesus has been preparing a place for us for over 2,000 years, just what heaven must be like??

MACARONI RECIPE - Link to Macaroni & Cheese Recipes

The other day I thought I was lacking ingredients for my usual macaroni so I thought I would try something different. This delicious recipe is what I came up with. Give it a try. I think you will enjoy it. . .
.

Ingredients
.
4 cups of water
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 stick of celery
1 carrot
1/2 medium onion
1/4 of a large green pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 cup of cubed cooked/uncooked - canned/ fresh meat (I tried canned turkey)
2 cups of macaroni of your choice (I use whole wheat)
2 medium tomatoes or 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
1/2 to 3/4 cup of marble cheese
1 tbsp butter/margarine
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tsp of your choice of herbs
.
Pour water & salt into a medium large pot. Turn on to boil at med high. As you heat the water;
add: celery slit down the middle and sliced, carrot, cubed onion , cubed green pepper, crushed of cubed in tiny pieces garlic cloves & cubed cooked or uncooked-canned or fresh meat of your choice. When water is boiling rapidly add macaroni and butter/margarine. Cook until most of the water has been absorbed. **While the macaroni is boiling cube medium tomatoes (or half cherry tomatoes) and thinly slice in marble cheese into a medium bowl. Fold these 2 ingredients into the undrained macaroni mixture when it is cooked and stir in milk. Turn off burner. Salt & pepper to taste and serve when cheese has melted in.

PS Experimenting with herbs can make some nice flavoring.
.
Example:
.
- If you are using poultry for meat or maybe tuna, you can sprinkle about 1/2 a tsp of poultry seasoning or sage into it.
.
- If it is beef, you could try adding 1/2 tsp of thyme.
.
- I don't know what you could use for ham or pork.
.
